catalog (catalogue) を動詞として使う

複雑な、みたいな意味。 can be complicated の形で見た。
例文
The legal process can be complicated and confusing.
may と might
may は「してもよい」、「かもしれない」を表していそう。 過去形は現在から距離があることを示すと思うので、might は may よりも「してもよい」「かもしれない」度合いが低いと思っている。
out of
out of hogehoge => hogehoge の外側という印象。

find, discover に偶然感がある感じ。

build するために take する steps、みたいな感じ。 to take があると「構築するために実行する手順」で、ないと「構築するための手順」。

leave に離れる、放置するの意味がある。「〜に向けて放置されている」->「〜がどうにかする」->「〜に委ねられている」という連想。
